Is Your Home Suitable For Solar?

Before you choose to purchase solar energy, there are a few things you should consider...

Roof Positioning

The best position for solar energy is on a south facing roof, due to the way the sun moves throughout the day. You can still get great returns from a roof which isn't completely south facing so it is worthwhile undertaking our free initial survey so we can tell you what your expected return will be.

Planning Permission

Normally planning permission is not required, except when your property is a listed building. We can help assist any planning permission queries you may have by speaking to your local council.

Panel Weight

Modern Solar PV panels are not that heavy and the weight installed on the roof is distributed evenly across the space. We will always check as part of our technical assessment your roof suitability but our panels are well within the Building Regulations requirements for most properties.

Maintenance

Our panels carry a 25 year warranty and contain no moving parts meaning we expect the systems to last a lot longer than that. If for any reason however you need maintenance or repairs we can arrange one of our experienced installers to visit you to rectify the problem.
