An arts project has been launched in London to help raise awareness of climate change and the potential impact on the environment. The Plunge project demonstrates visually what sea levels may be at in 1000 years time, using some of the most famous columns in the city.

20 years of excavation can take it’s toll, turning it in to a barren stretch of land with little future. However one gravel pit has been given a new lease of life; after three years of hard work and a grant of £55,000 from SITA Trusts’s Enriching Nature Programme.
