Minimum Energy Efficiency Requirement for Claiming FiTs

Since April 2012 the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) put in place a minimum energy efficiency requirement for households wanted to install solar panels on their building and claim the full Feed-in Tariff. The homeowner will be required to produce an Energy Performance Certificate rating of 'D' or above to be able to claim the full FiT rate.
