Through a government backed scheme, the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) enables individuals to earn more than just free electricity from their solar installations.
The tariff guarantees a minimum payment of 21p per kilowatt hour of electricity generated through the solar panels, regardless of whether you use the electricity yourself or not. The FiT payments are in addition to any surplus electricity you sell back to the Grid and all of the savings you will make on your electricity bills.

Minimum Energy Efficiency Requirement for Claiming FiTs
From 1st April the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) have put in place a minimum energy efficiency requirement for households wanted to install solar panels on their building and claim the full Feed-in Tariff. The homeowner will be required to produce an Energy Performance Certificate rating of 'D' or above to be able to claim the full FiT rate.
It is estimated that around half of all properties in the UK meet the 'D' rating however Contact Us today to schedule an EPC Rating survey for your home.
